Very demure very mindful small coffee cup set, comes with a saucer and cup — sized for a cortado or flat white. The saucer can be placed on top of the cup as a lid or a little dish for snacks to go along with your coffee.

A Japanese style ceramic pourer shaped like a folded leaf. It features an organic spout with dented areas for finger grip. Made with off-white stoneware, glazed white on the outside and a pale jade green glaze cascading inside.
The pourer is perfect for serving soy sauce, soba sauce, sake, dressings or small amounts of broth.

What’s the defect?
There is a minor flaw only on the carafe. The Finger grip holes on the carafe are slightly unaligned with the spout location.
The cups have a slight green tint on one side, this does not affect functionality. No other flaws on spout or pour. No cracks.

This 2 piece pastel pink and lavender cup and saucer has a whimsical diagonal checker pattern. Handmade and handpainted.
The cup sits snug in the saucer and is a perfect fit. It can be used separately as a side dish/plate as well!

Ugly cups series
These series of ugly cups were made using the Nerikomi technique, the Japanese method of stacking colored clay and then slicing through the cross section to reveal a pattern. But as you can see it isn’t very Japanese by the time I’m done with it. This is Kapuuut’s take because Kapuuut does wonky (#noshame). Hence birthed the ugly cups, i won’t even attempt to use Wabi-Sabi to get away with this.
These Ugly Cups have been named after popular unisex people from the 1920s instead.
Meet Earl and Bertie
Mostly made out of checks that are created by 2 and 1/2 clay types. They’re handbuilt and coated with a simple clear glaze, with an inner black base.
Earl: Being the tallest of the family and is considered to be quite a looker. Earl can hold up to 210ml of liqs and stands at 7.2cm, with a waistline of 6.5cm.
Bertie: Top heavy and narrower base, Bertie can hold up to 200ml of liqs and stands at 6cm, with a width of 7.5cm
These ugly cups are sold as a pair/set. Wouldn’t want to leave a bro behind.

Lou: Known as the ugliest cousin in the family. Lou can hold up to 160ml of liqs and stands at 6cm, with a waistline of 6.5cm.
Jackie: The shortest and stumpiest in the family, Jackie can hold up to 120ml of liqs, standing only at 4.5cm, with a width of 6.2cm. Perfect for a piccolo!

Sometimes the pull doesn’t feel natural, this work sits in that feeling. This series of vases plays with gravity, letting glazes shift the eye in opposing directions.
It’s about unlearning and detaching from the ideas defined by society — in a way, going against gravity.
The vases explore an organic visual play, with intentional misalignments in handles and opposing glaze drips. They are to be accepted as they formed.

Kaki incense holders from The Cove Collection — A Hush x Kapuuut Collaboration
This piece was inspired by shells and mollusks. Kaki, which means oyster in Japanese mimics the playful curves of an oyster, and can be a conversation starter when displayed in a home.
The intention with this collection was to lift the mood of picking seashells by the beach; to enjoy life’s small joys. If a two minute habit of lighting an incense or setting affirmations can be done daily, it can go a long way to set the mood.

A pair of Rooster egg cups with the iconic Rooster motif.
In Asian culture, the rooster bowl is believed to have originated from the Hakkas and symbolize prosperity. Coincidentally, the Rooster of Barcelos from the Portuguese legend is an interesting story and has the same positive symbolisms of faith, good luck and justice.

A two-piece incense holder designed as a chimney.
The base holds the incense stick, while the top piece covers it like a chimney. An opening/hole allows for longer incense sticks to extend out, but as they burn down, the incense continues burning inside, with smoke escaping through the chimney above.

A lidded vessel which is inspired during my time in Oaxaca and its surrounding colorful craft villages. This is a ceramic piece that is hand poked and stitched with embroidery thread. This warm colored vessel explores different materials to complement clay - natural fibers, wood and metal.

Pearl
Rice
A holder with a handle. This ritual holder can be used to hold palo santo or smudge sticks while you move around the space. It can only hold incense cones or smaller items on the side, but it’s designed for larger pieces of incense wood or smudge sticks.
The glaze is a cluster of crystal gems pooled toward the middle. It’s very mesmerising to look at~
Tip: Decorate with stones or collected seashells around the sides, and keep the burnables in the middle. Get creative!

The Drip Planter is a quirky pot that has a round bottom and angular top, it has small handles on one side with macrame detailing. The glaze is a trippy mix of blues and pinks which is even more gorgeous under the sun –– very psychedelic, very lightbending. Match it with a funky plant and it will be a very eccentric looking pot!
This planter comes with 1 big and 3 small drainage holes and a perforated foot which prevents water from collecting/pooling under the pot.

What’s the defect?
There is a minor flaw only on the carafe. The Finger grip holes on the carafe are slightly unaligned with the spout location.

A pair of Rooster egg cups with the iconic Rooster motif.
In Asian culture, the rooster bowl is believed to have originated from the Hakkas and symbolize prosperity. Coincidentally, the Rooster of Barcelos from the Portuguese legend is an interesting story and has the same positive symbolisms of faith, good luck and justice.
