Saffron Caddy
A lidded vessel which is inspired during my time in Oaxaca and its surrounding colorful craft villages. This is a ceramic piece that is hand poked and stitched with embroidery thread. This warm colored vessel explores different materials to complement clay - natural fibers, wood and metal.
This 2 piece vessel is made of a 250ml jar and a lid with handle. The handle is beaded with wood and brass beads from India and Thailand.
This caddy can be used for storing anything from toiletries, jewellery, memorabilia or knick knacks.
Not recommended for holding food or liquids due to perforations and delicate materials
